Health and Safety in Employment Act - A Guide to

This is the second edition of what has become known as the Blue Guide. It has been revised to include the Health and Safety in Employment Amendment Act 2002.

Presented as an HTML file, and incorporating all six parts, the Guide also contains links to more detailed fact sheets on specific amendments.

The Blue Guide provides some detail on how the legislation works, and what it means for people with duties and rights. It will be of use to you as an employer, manager, health and safety representative, human resource specialist, or anyone who needs to know how the law applies in a place of work.

The Department has also compiled all the changes to the HSE Act into one document the Health and Safety in Employment Act Consolidated - This document has been prepared by the Department of Labour to aid understanding of changes to the legislation that took effect from 5 May 2003.
