Power-Operated Elevating Work Platforms - Approved Code of Practice

The Department of Labour is seeking input for a revocation of the Power-Operated Elevated Work Platforms Approved Code of Practice. When completed, the Elevated Work Platforms Best Practice Guideline that is currently under development by an industry working party is intended to replace the ACOP published in 1995. We are seeking input and feedback on the current Code to be incorporated in to the draft best practice guideline. The Power-Operated Elevated Work Platform Approved Code of Practice would not be revoked until the new Guideline is in place.

Outlines safe work practices for any portable work platform where height is adjustable by powered means or any other articulated, scissor mechanism or telescopic boom.
